Baroque Works

Baroque Works (バロック・ワークス, Barokku Wākusu?) is Crocodile's undercover, criminal organization. Their goal is to overthrow the government of the Alabasta Kingdom by inciting a revolution. The members promise high positions in the ideal nation Crocodile planned to create on the Alabastan soil. However, Crocodile's ultimate goal is to turn that nation into the world's strongest military power by obtaining the ancient weapon Pluton, which is hidden somewhere in the country. The organization is led by thirteen male agents, who use the code names Mr. 0 through Mr. 13, and their female partners, who use code names taken from weekdays or holidays. The agents Mr. 0 through Mr. 5 and their partners are called Officer Agents and commanded the 200 lower ranking members called Billions. The agents Mr. 6 through Mr. 13 and their partners are called Frontier Agents. They, with the exception of Mr. 13 and his partner, who serve as messengers and punishers, command the 1,800 lowest ranking members called Millions. Crocodile acts as "Mr. 0" and president, and Nico Robin acts as "Ms. All-Sunday" and vice president. Daz Bonez acted as "Mr. 1". He works with Paula, who acts as "Ms. Doublefinger". Bentham acts as "Mr. 2 Bon Clay" who works by himself, assuming both male and female aspects thanks to his Devil Fruit powers. Galdino acted as "Mr. 3". He works with "Ms. Golden Week". "Mr. 4" works with "Ms. Merry Christmas", "Mr. 5" works with "Ms. Valentine", "Mr. 6" works with "Ms. Mother's Day", "Mr. 7" works with "Ms. Father's Day", "Mr. 8" works with "Ms. Monday", "Mr. 9" works with "Ms. Wednesday", "Mr. 10" works with "Ms. Tuesday", "Mr. 11" works with "Ms. Thursday", "Mr. 12" works with "Ms. Saturday", and "Mr. 13" works with "Ms. Friday". Eventually, the truth of Crocodile's actions are known by the rebels and royal guard. The Marines arrest Crocodile and strip him of all titles and permissions granted by the World Government, and Baroque Works is disbanded. The name of their main ship is "Full" (フール号, Fūru-gō?, renamed "Downpour" in the English manga).
