Chaka

Chaka (チャカ, Chaka?), nicknamed "Jackal" (ジャッカル, Jakkaru?), is one of two head guards of Alabasta. Chaka is always stern and rigorous. He's very loyal to the Royal Family, and he's willing to give up his life in order to protect them. He cares very much for his best friend, Pell. Chaka ate a zoan Devil Fruit called the Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Jackal (イヌイヌの実 モデル：ジャッカル, Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Jackal?, renamed "Mutt-Mutt Fruit: Jackal Mode" in the English manga, and "Mutt-Mutt Fruit: Jackal Strike" in the 4Kids dub) that allows him to transform into a jackal or jackal-human hybrid. Chaka is also a skilled swordsman using a spatha sword as his weapon of choice. He is voiced by Kihachiro Uemura in the Japanese version. In the English dubs, he is voiced by Scottie Ray for 4Kids, and by Robert McCollum for Funimation.
