Jesus Burgess

Jesus Burgess (ジーザス･バージェス Jīzasu Bājesu?, renamed "G. Zass Burgess" in the edited dub), nicknamed Champion (チャンピオン Chanpion?), is a member and helmsman of the Blackbeard Pirates. Burgess is brutish, very loud, and overbearing. Though has a serious nature as well. He seems to be overconfident, as he climbs buildings and challenges random people, proclaiming himself as the "Champion". He also appears to have an intense love of combat, wanting to test his skills out on anyone he finds. Burgess possesses incredible physical strength, like throwing an entire hotel across a great distance while jumping extremely high to reach his target. He is voiced by Tetsu Inada in the Japanese version. In the English dub, he is voiced by Phil Parsons for Funimation.
