Sarquiss

Sarquiss (サーキース, Sākīsu?, "Sirkees" in the 4Kids dub), nicknamed "Big Knife" Sarquiss (ビッグナイフ・サーキース, Biggu Naifu Sākīsu?, "Big Knife" Sirkees in the 4Kids dub), is the first mate of the Bellamy Pirates. Sarquiss, like the rest of the crew, strongly believes in the coming of the New Era, and laughs at anyone who mentions their dreams. He also falsely believes that a bounty serves as a rating of a person's fighting level, making him believe that he is a more powerful fighter than he truly is. He is also very stubborn. Sarquiss is a decent fighter who fights using a kukri dagger.ch.303 Sarquiss's current bounty is 38,000,000 Berries. He is voiced by Yuji Ueda in the Japanese version. In the English dubs, he is voiced by David Wills for 4Kids, and by Duncan Brannan for Funimation.
